This two-day CHARISMA symposium is organized jointly by the National Gallery of London, the Centre de Recherche et de Restauration des Musées de France (C2RMF) and the British Museum, and coincides with the closing weeks of the major National Gallery exhibition Leonardo da Vinci. Painter at the Court of Milan.

The first day will be devoted to Leonardo's painting techniques. The morning of the second day will focus on the techniques of the so-called 'Leonardeschi painters, working in Leonardo's ambit, while the subject of the afternoon session will be Leonardo's drawings.
